Net Zero Group

Helping Suffolk businesses on the journey to Net Zero

About the Group

Launched to support Suffolk’s transition to a greener economy, the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce’s Net Zero Group (NZG) reflects the importance of environmental sustainability for the county’s long‑term prosperity.

Open to Chamber members, the group meets twice a year to bring together business professionals from across Suffolk, alongside local authorities and key agencies. Together, we explore best practice and support the delivery of the Chamber's Net Zero policy objectives.

Our Focus

The NZG is dedicated to a number of sustainability-driven priorities including:

  • Supporting businesses to reduce carbon emissions and environmental impact

  • Sharing knowledge on new technologies, regulation and funding opportunities

  • Facilitating collaboration between businesses, local authorities and experts

  • Influencing regional and national policy on climate and sustainability
