Bank of England Panel

The Bank of England in conjunction with the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce hold regular business panel meetings in order to keep the Bank informed about the performance of the regional and UK economy.
This panel usually meets three times a year and all members are welcome to attend by prior arrangement.
The Bank uses this confidential source of information to help provide the Monetary Policy Committee with an up-to-date picture of what is happening in the economy. It also provides useful feedback where there might be puzzles or noise in official data.
The Bank is also interested in feedback on financial matters such as access to funding – pricing and availability of finance – and more general credit market conditions – Trade Credit Insurance, Invoice Discounting, Factoring, Supply-Chain finance etc.
