Although finding an overseas partner is relatively easy, finding a good one is much harder but also extremely important for the international success of your product. This half day course covers the ups and downs of working with agents or distributors. It examines the differences, where each may be appropriate and finding, appointing and motivating your partners. It also highlights the pitfalls and potential costs of getting it wrong. Also of importance will be what to consider when appointing an overseas partner.
Delegates will also hear about and discuss cultural issues, different approaches to agreements. This course will be of interest to anyone within an organisation who is tasked with developing international business, or for internal staff who work with overseas customers regularly.
