Suffolk Dog Day

Suffolk Dog Day

Suffolk Dog Day has established itself in Suffolk’s summer calendar as one of the County’s best loved attractions. It’s a fun event for dogs and their owners and regularly raises over £60,000, all of which goes to the Suffolk Community Foundation to support their work with Suffolk charities and voluntary groups.

Sadly, last year’s event was cancelled as a result of the extreme hot weather, but this year we are back with an even bigger and better Dog Day and we expect a huge crowd on Sunday 28th July at Helmingham Hall. Over 7,000 people are expected to attend and a fundraising event on this scale wouldn’t be possible without the fantastic support that we get from the Suffolk business community. Major sponsors such as Skinners, East Anglian Daily Times, BBC Radio Suffolk, and many others including Hopkins Homes, Sackers, Collins Skip Hire and Gladwells Pet and Country Store all play a part in helping to stage this wonderful day. For every £1 we receive in sponsorship, we reckon to be able to almost treble it via gate receipts, and other income. We can therefore make sponsoring Suffolk Dog Day a very effective way for Suffolk businesses to support the charitable work of the Suffolk Community Foundation.

We rely on volunteer helpers supporting us, both in the run-up to the event and on the day itself. Give your CSR a boost and encourage your teams to volunteer – we can guarantee a fun day in pursuit of a good cause. And as far as sponsorship is concerned – our door is never closed - but be quick if you would like to put your name of one of the prime slots!
