BERT Business Resilience Support Workshop

Community charity Groundwork Suffolk & Norfolk will be holding a workshop in Lowestoft to help you develop your business resilience plan. In light of recent extreme weather conditions and flooding, being prepared and having appropriate resilience plans in place is more important now than ever.

During the workshop, not only will you be helped through the vital business resilience process but you will also get a sneak preview of the new Environment Agency Flood Warning Service, which is being launched at the end of February.

The workshop will show you how you can mitigate potential losses, prepare contingency plans and position your business to prosper.

The session will include:

  • An introduction by Peter Aldous MP for Waveney

  • A short presentation on the BERT Business Resilience Support project – the free advice on offer to you and how this has helped others like you

  • A look at the Environment Agency’s work regarding flood risk reduction and the experiences of the recent flood warnings

  • An opportunity to discuss the new EA Flood Warning Service being introduced in 2017

  • Workgroups and 1-to-1 time to help businesses get registered on the project and discuss specific resilience concerns

Places are limited so register now for the Lowestoft workshop.
