High-wire adventure for Accountants

Two Ipswich accountants have been swinging through Thetford Forest. all in the name of charity.

Andrew Last and Mathew King, from PKF East Anglia, Accountants & business advisers, took part in Lloyd's TSB's fundraising event at Go Ape's high-wire forest adventure to raise money for Barnardo's.

Together, Andrew, a senior audit manager, and Mathew, a senior business adviser, raised around £400 for the children's charity.

Andrew said: 'I have never done anything like this before, which is one of the reasons I took part. It was also good to raise a good deal of cash for such a worthy cause, too.'

Mike Carter, LloydsTSB Commercial Business Development Manager, said: 'I was delighted that Andrew and Mathew took up the challenge of helping the East Anglian business development team raise much needed funds for Barnardo's - a memorable afternoon!'
