Exclusive River Dining in Winter

Exclusive River Dining in Winter

What better way to spend an autumn or winter day than in the cosy comfort of the saloon of a fine dining restaurant cruising the Suffolk rivers. Sipping mulled wine and hot toddies, making occasional forays out on deck to watch the abundance of wild fowl, or to see the raw red sunsets and skyscapes, only to return to the cosy coal fire in the saloon.

You have guessed. We are talking about the Lady Florence River Cruise Restaurant cruising out of Orford on the Rivers Alde and Ore, all year round, including Christmas Day. Christmas Day itself is one of our most popular days, but we do still have some spaces, so book now.

For those less familiar with the Lady Florence, she takes a maximum of 12 passengers, either exclusively or sharing with others, which means you have lots of space. Unlike most boats, Lady Florence boasts an a la carte menu. You choose when you embark, and your dishes are prepared freshly as we cruise.

Having mentioned price, we strive to remain AFFORDABLE. Our three course American brunches with hash brown potatoes and hot American muffins and apple pie and cream (all made on board) is at £21.95 plus service and that includes the two-and-a-half hour cruise! A la carte mains start at £7.95, other courses from £3.95.

But words alone cannot convince you of the magic experience of fine foods and cruising the Suffolk rivers in the exclusive solitude of the off- peak months when we are virtually the only boat afloat.

Come and experience the MAGIC.
