New jobs as Suffolk IT business expands
IT solutions provider, Strident Technology Group, has seen strong growth during the past 18 months and is recruiting for new roles as the company continues to expand. Currently employing 16 people across two sites in Suffolk, the company is seeking a further five members of staff as well as offering positions for apprentices and interns.
“Information technology is an incredibly fast-moving and competitive business, so to still be going strong after 21 years is testament to the high quality people we employ and our professional yet friendly culture,” said Strident director, Chris Joberns. “We are looking to take on people in a range of roles including sales and marketing, software development, systems engineering and help desk support.”
Recognised as an Investor in People five times over and voted ‘Suffolk’s Best Employer’, Strident recognise the advantages of modern working styles including flexible start and finish times and working from home. “Allowing roles to adapt to people’s work-life commitments, ensures we recruit the best people and offer the highest levels of customer service,” adds Chris.
Strident, which celebrates 21 years of business in 2014, provides IT support and bespoke software development to some of the East Anglia’s leading names including The Milsom Hotels and Restaurant Group, the Mercury Theatre and Suffolk Show organiser, the Suffolk Agricultural Association.
Currently based in Ipswich and Claydon, Strident is moving all its operations to the Claydon site. “Situated on a national cycle route, Claydon Court is a great location if you want to cycle to work and has lockers and showers for bike commuters,” continues Chris. “The open spaces and courtyard let staff move away from their desks at lunchtime or even work outside.”
Strident is holding a recruitment evening at its new premises in Claydon, Suffolk on 23rd July, between 5pm to 8pm. More details can be found at Strident’s web site - www.strident.co.uk/join-us/
