Dear fellow Suffolk Chamber members

Fully funded courses for members of staff earning less than £15,736.30 per year!

I am writing to inform you that the Department for Education and Skills has made funding available, which entitles adults who are in receipt of a low income to full fee remission on many Adult Learning courses. Currently, a low income has been defined as ‘someone earning less than £15,736.30 per year,’ regardless of how many hours a week they work and of their household income.

This is an excellent opportunity for your business and your workforce, helping you to meet employees' development needs. Maybe you have a group of people in your workforce that you have identified as needing some development with their computer skills. Perhaps they need some help with their maths or English skills (including English for Speakers of Other Languages – ESOL) or they might benefit working towards a qualification such as Retail and Customer Service. This funding offers an ideal opportunity to meet those needs.

Realise Futures Learning and Development offers a range of courses in our learning centres and other venues countywide and we may be able to offer a course tailored to the needs of your sector and close to your place of business (please note that courses delivered under this funding cannot take place in a candidates place of work).

If  you would like to request promotional materials to share with your employees in staff rooms or on noticeboards or would like to set up a meeting to discuss what courses we could deliver to your staff, we look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely
