Board Director sought for Suffolk company supporting local charities
Suffolk Community Transport’s (SCT) Annual General Meeting will be held on 16th April 2015 at Hadleigh Business Centre at 10.00am. (Formal notice of this meeting will be issued shortly).
We will have 3 Board Director vacancies at the AGM - two from the current Directors retiring by rotation and one other existing vacancy. Below is a Directors' Application Pack which also contains a nomination form and list of members eligible to propose and second director applicants.
The job role details, along with background information about the company (contained within application pack), should provide any potential applicant with enough information to assess the role. The role is a voluntary position, although expenses are reimbursed. However, if anyone requires any further information or detail about the role, please do not hesitate to contact me for an informal discussion.
Please note that anyone is able to apply. An applicant DOES NOT have to be a current member of SCT, nor do they have to be a Community Transport Operator. Applicants can come from any sector and from people at any level within an organisation. The most important thing is that an applicant has an interest in transport and in supporting a commercial company to grow.
