Making Suicide Prevention Everybody’s Business Webinar on the topic – High Risk Occupations:
Wednesday 24th September at 10am.
As part of Suffolk County Council’s ongoing commitment to making suicide prevention Everybody's business, you are invited to join the next session in a webinar series. Each session explores key themes and challenges that can affect individuals and contribute to suicidal thoughts or behaviours.
The theme this September is going to be ‘High Risk Occupations’ – with a focus on Construction, Farming and (hopefully) Process Plant workers (i.e. food processing and other manufacturing). In Suffolk these work areas are significant employers and those working in them may be family, friends, neighbours or may access the services that we work in.
The aim of these Webinars is to Make Suicide Prevention Everybody’s business as it is the interactions that we have in our professional and personal lives that make all the difference.
The council encourages you to attend the webinar live if possible, as it offers the best opportunity to engage and ask questions. However, if you’re unable to join in real time, a recording will be available afterward on the Healthy Suffolk Website Suicide Prevention - Healthy Suffolk
