“That is why, on behalf of our members and the wider business community in the county town, we will continue to voice their aspirations and hopes. We will do this, through whatever are the most effective mechanisms available, to harness our collective strengths in boosting Ipswich’s infrastructure and prospects.

“We would urge that all partners in Ipswich and across the County, now redouble their efforts to start delivering the scale of progress that the business and wider communities can appreciate and support and which will deliver a lasting legacy. Regenerating Ipswich, just as other urban areas have been successfully regenerated over recent decades, must be the overarching ambition. All projects, however funded, must zero in on this.
