Suffolk Chamber of Commerce supports Suffolk New College in uniting businesses and education
The Suffolk Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce its continued and renewed support for Suffolk New College through its Industry Partner Programme and the upcoming FutureSkills Fair. This partnership underscores the Chamber’s commitment to strengthening the connections between businesses and education to support Suffolk’s growing economy.
Suffolk New College’s Industry Partner Programme offers a unique opportunity for businesses to engage directly with education, shaping the future workforce by providing valuable industry insights. As industry partners, local employers play a key role in curriculum development, ensuring that students are equipped with the skills and knowledge that align with current and future industry needs.
In addition to the Industry Partner Programme, the Suffolk Chamber is thrilled to support the FutureSkills Fair, set to take place on Monday, November 4th, 2024.The FutureSkills Fair will bring together 3,000 young people and 59 exhibitors with 13 generous event sponsors from across the region to inspire and inform the next generation about the vast career opportunities available in Suffolk.
The FutureSkills Fair is a key initiative that aligns with the Chamber’s commitment to supporting the Suffolk business community by fostering closer ties between education and industry. As a sponsor of this important event, the Suffolk Chamber is pleased to join other industry leaders like Sizewell C Group and Ipswich Town Football Club in encouraging local businesses to engage with the region’s future workforce.
