WS Training has been established for over twenty one years. We predominately operate in Suffolk and on the Essex borders but more recently we have been operating regionally through out East Anglia.  WS Training offers commercial training to employers on a wide range of subjects and for most business sectors. These courses are run from our own centres in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds or at employers’ premises if required.  The Vocational Learning division offers Apprenticeships, Workplace and Classroom Qualifications. We deliver Study Programmes including a High Needs Programme in Central Ipswich.

WS Training offers courses in management development, health & safety, plant & construction, information technology, environmental, HR and business development.

A key strength of WS Training is the links we have with employers either through the commercial training side of the business or through the work on Apprenticeships and Workplace Learning.  Between 1st July 2017 and 31st July 2018 WS Training trained 4,802 delegates from 472 different companies. This is 726 more delegates than we trained the previous year.  We currently have over 4000 employers on our data base. This is maintained through two employer engagement teams who work with employers on sourcing and delivering training as well as advising and supporting Apprenticeship recruitment. This can be done via taking on an apprentice or upskilling and developing existing members of staff .

WS Training averages 45 Apprenticeship vacancies open at any one time and the Recruitment Team handles 200 plus applications a month for these vacancies.  This engagement with young people looking for work is successful and integral to our business and supports employers with their recruitment practices
