Attendees at Suffolk Chamber of Commerce’s Tour of Britain 2017 networking lunch event on 12 July now stand the chance of getting as close as possible to the thrill of the actual event during the Suffolk leg in September.

According to Kayleigh Streeton, Suffolk Chamber’s events coordinator, “we will be running a business card draw offering our guests the chance to win two fantastic Tour of Britain-related prizes."

The first is two VIP breakfast club places at the start of the Suffolk stage (stage six) of the 2017 OVO energy Tour of Britain in Newmarket on 8 September. Guests will receive a complimentary breakfast in a prime location on the start line to witness the official rider sign, interviews and see the race get underway. Guests will also receive a complimentary race programme.

The second is for two places on the media ride for stage six from Eye to Framlingham on 15 August. The media ride will be supported by a Police motorcycle escort, official Tour of Britain race cars and riders from an official cycling team.

The media ride will give guests a real insight and unique experience of what it’s like to be part of the peloton. Participants will be treated to refreshments at both the start and finish.

In addition, Suffolk Chamber has announced that its networking event, held at Newmarket Racecourses’ Rowley Mile will have a third speaker.

Ciaran will join Alastair Grant and Dr Andy Wood OBE on the speakers’ podium.

Alastair has played an integral part in the development and growth of The Tour of Britain event, as well as the creation of the Women’s Tour and Tour Series, and will be providing an update on how businesses can be involved with the Tour of Britain.
