The wait is over, Ipswich Audi have opened the doors to their new showroom at Crane Boulevard, Futura Park in Ipswich

The significance of the Group’s latest venture is clear to Paul Barnard, Managing Director of the Marriott Motor Group, as he commented: “This has been by far our biggest property investment since the company was established and the new Ipswich Audi dealership will be a statement site for both Marriott Motor Group and the Audi brand in Suffolk.”

Now, Ipswich Audi’s new four-acre site is located next door to Waitrose and John Lewis on Futura Park in Ipswich and the futuristic building will house a brand new a 16-car showroom and service centre, together with offices and space that can be rented out for business events.

The new 16 car showroom features:
Dedicated Audi Sport Area.
Comfortable & spacious customer zone including private work-space.
16 ramp workshop & 2 MOT bays.
And of course, lots of room for parking.

Ipswich Audi are keen to stress that the new building does not come at a cost to their customers though and that they continue to participate in the national “Price for the job” for servicing and repairs.

Mark Dockerill, Head of Business at Ipswich Audi said: “This is a very exciting time for Ipswich Audi and this fantastic new facility reflects both the quality of the brand and our Group.  We also now have the room to further develop and grow to meet the requirements of the Audi brand.”

The Audi showroom is home to around 70 staff and a number of new jobs were created to facilitate the demands of the new dealership.

Stepping inside visitors are immediately struck by the curved feature wall with lights running along it to resemble a road. The showroom space is impressive and the intention is that there will be no desks in this area allowing the cars to be presented without interruption.

Paul Barnard also hopes the new building will be used for events such as drinks receptions, product launches and business meetings.

“We’d like the space to be business friendly and recognised as a place where the doors are always open,” he added.
