Suffolk Libraries teams up with We Are Radikl to launch entrepreneurship programme for women
Suffolk Libraries is offering 50 spaces for women in Suffolk to take part in a support programme to give them the skills, support and confidence to bring their business ideas to fruition.
The six week programme is being run by We Are Radikl from 7 June. We Are Radikl help women to successfully start, sustain and scale their businesses, whilst also providing a route to funding opportunities.
The programme is aimed at any women with a business or business idea who need some help to get started. The first phase of the programme launches later this month and people can register their interest via the Suffolk Libraries website at https://www.suffolklibraries.co.uk/business-and-room-hire/entrepreneur-programme-for-women.
There will be other opportunities to join the programme later in the year.
Krystal Vittles, head of service delivery at Suffolk Libraries, said:
“It’s a very challenging time for anyone thinking of launching a business and it’s tough for women starting a business at the best of times. Suffolk Libraries are proud to be working with We Are Radikl on this exciting new programme which we hope will provide women with a great opportunity and will ultimately help to strengthen our local economy.”
The programme involves 36 hours of learning over 6 weeks. There is an initial one hour live online introduction and you are then free to access the rest of the programme flexibly to fit round other commitments.
