Suffolk holiday business predicts bumper year for Tourism in 2020
Luxury self-catering accommodation provider Best of Suffolk is predicting a bumper year for tourism in Suffolk for 2020.
Having received an unprecedented number of entries to their waitlist for 2020 holidays set to launch on Wednesday, Tim Ripman, Head of Operations at Best of Suffolk explains “Our guests know the best properties always book quickly, so to secure their desired location and dates for next year they act promptly and book on the day we launch.”
The sheer size of the waitlist indicates the market is buoyant, and bodes well for a busy summer tourist season for Suffolk.
What’s more, occupancy of Best of Suffolk’s holiday homes is at an all-time high, having just had a sell-out Easter.
Having already experienced a 16% increase in bookings year-on-year, Best of Suffolk’s team is growing with more sales and customer service roles as a result of increased demand of quality places to stay in Suffolk.
Alex Tarry, Director at Best of Suffolk expands “We have never had a larger or stronger team at Best of Suffolk. We grew organically from one cottage in Aldeburgh to over 380 properties covering the whole of Suffolk. If we carry on this way, we’re going to need a bigger office!”
With the team at Best of Suffolk primed and ready for the influx of calls of Wednesday 22 May for 2020 holiday bookings, the office will be opening later to 8pm to offer the best possible service. This dedication from the Best of Suffolk team is just one of the reasons the company was shortlisted for the Suffolk Business Awards under the Customer Care category, with the judges visit having taken place earlier this month.
