'Suffolk Chamber Prestige Dinner’ series launched with Justin Urquhart-Stewart as first speaker
Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, the voice of business in the county, is building on its reputation for hosting great networking events by launching a gold standard event called the ‘Suffolk Chamber Prestige Dinner’.
Suffolk Chamber’s president, Graham Abbey is extending the invitation to all of the business organisation’s members. The first dinner will take place on 19 March at Wherstead Park and is sponsored by facilities management company and Suffolk Chamber patron, Norse. The guest speaker will be Justin Urquhart-Stewart, one of the most recognisable and trusted media commentators on the world of high finance.
Justin’s career has spanned the vineyards of Europe, the docks of Southampton and finance in Asia. He went onto establish Broker Services at what became Barclays Stockbrokers before co-founding 7IM as Head of Corporate Development.
He will be speaking in his usual down-to-earth manner about the state of the global economy including his forthright views on issues such as Brexit, protectionism, the United States under President Trump, growing inequality and cyber security issues.
Geoff Tucker, Norse’s Sales and Marketing Director, said “we are pleased to sponsor this dinner, bringing together the leading businesses in Suffolk and supporting the great work the Suffolk Chamber is doing.”
Amanda Ankin, Suffolk Chamber operations director, said “we’re delighted to have booked such a high-profile, knowledgeable and entertaining speaker for our inaugural dinner in this new series of events. Justin Urquhart-Stewart is someone who knows the way of the business world and isn’t afraid to tell it as it is.
“There will be two Suffolk Chamber Prestige Dinners each year, held at especially high quality locations offering guests a unique opportunity to meet the county’s business movers and shakers and listen to the best speakers around.”
