netXtra once again chosen to freshen up WAGGGS website and regional microsites worldwide

netXtra, one of Suffolk's foremost website development companies, has again been chosen by the World Association for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) to freshen up and add exciting new functionality to their public website, as well as their 150 regional microsites worldwide. Furthermore, Long Melford-based netXtra will also be launching a new site section that celebrates the centenary of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting.

As well as a fresh and appealing new look, the new WAGGGS site will also exhibit many exciting features. These include a new enhanced members-only login area and a host of new Web 2.0 functionality; including videos and an interactive ‘activities’ area with forums. A brand new resources area will also be launched, where group leaders can view and download a wealth of useful documentation, images and other information to help leaders make the most of resources available to them. There will also be a brand new area where those within the Girl Guide and Girl Scout community can participate in local ‘geocaching’ events – the latest online ‘treasure hunt’ craze to come to the Internet.
