We are an established local training provider offering a wide range of commercial training including RTITB Fork Truck, Health & Safety, First Aid at Work and many more. We also offer over 20 Elearning courses which can be completed in the comfort of your own location.
We have numerous cohorts of Apprentice's in Slate and Tile, where on completion the apprentices will have knowledge of the principles of slating & tiling and how they are applied in routine tasks, suh as, setting out rofs, installing insulation, underlay and other background materials, installing main roof coverings, fixings, fittings and components, ventilation and dry fix systems, roof windows, mixing and applying mortar and installing pre-formed lead and/or proprietary flashings.
From February 2022 we are starting 2 new Traineeships courses in Construction and Warehousing.
In Construction students will receive a level 1 award in construction. This will comprise of Construction Multi Skills and Construction Health & Safety, including a CSCS exam and grenn card.
In Warehousing students will receive a level 1 in warehousing & storage, plus an award in manual handling.
During the school term time we have students from various different settings attend the centre, during this time they complete projects in carpentry, building maintenance skills, mechanics and maths and english. We also offer a BTEC level 2 in construction and the built environment which looks at buildings, architecture and technical aspects of materials so future generations of construction professionals are aware of environmental elements of construction for the future
