BAM Nuttall Broadlands Flood Alleviation project wins Institute of Collaborative Working, Environmental Award

Members of the Broadland Flood Alleviation Project team attended the 2018 ceremony for the Institute of Collaborative Working (ICW) awards at the House of Lords on 13th December. The Broadland project was very pleased to have received the award for Environmental Enhancement Collaboration, recognising the good work that the project has been doing in enhancing the natural environment whilst carrying out large scale construction works to help manage flood risk and improve lives in the Broads.

This has been achieved as a result of the strong and enthusiastic collaborative approach taken by the three main parties involved in delivering the £120m project: the Environment Agency, client for the project, and Broadland Environmental Services Ltd (BAM Nuttall and Jacobs consortium), which was formed specially to deliver the 20 year framework.

The attached photo shows members of the team shortly after receiving the award. From left to right, Malcolm McAllister, BAM Nuttall, Paul Mitchelmore, Environment Agency, Jason Parker, BAM Nuttall and Kevin Marsh, Jacobs.
