Go DEEP into Digital - launching free digital workshops for local new businesses
Digital Enterprise Engagement Programme (DEEP), is a pioneering new programme offering newly formed local businesses and those who are self-employed, access to free digital courses. The scheme is a part of Menta’s Enterprise Engagement Programme (EEP) and is an element of the New Anglia Growth Programme, which is funded by the Regional Growth Fund.
New local businesses in Norfolk and Suffolk can benefit from DEEP’s free training and mentoring packages aimed at those looking to develop their digital capability, adding value that results in more effective business processes, productivity, competitiveness and, ultimately, profits.
To be eligible for the free courses on offer, candidates must be running a Limited business that has been trading for less than 12 months or be self-employed for less than 12 months and are perhaps thinking about setting up a Limited company and employing staff.
Chief Executive of Menta, Alex Till, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses and individuals from a range of sectors from food, tourism and e-commerce to those in high-tech industries and marketing roles, to get deeper into digital.
“The workshops are aimed at those who wish to develop their existing web presence or social media activity. Maybe they are looking for advice on digital marketing solutions, how to attract investment via digital channels or are considering new digital routes to market? Organisations that improve their own digital capability can thrive and compete much more effectively in our digital economy and DEEP will help facilitate this.”
Business Growth Manager for New Anglia LEP, Jason Middleton said “Providing new businesses with advice and workshops based around digital trading and marketing is important to ensure that all new businesses are equipped to trade in our digital age.”
Courses are available up until June 2015 and allocated on a first come first serve basis. Book your free places today!
