Double award win for Cubiqdesign Ltd

Double award win for Cubiqdesign Ltd

Cubiqdesign have scooped two prestigious accolades at The Newmarket and District Chamber of Commerce Awards 2012.  The event was held on the 25th May at The Jockey Club Rooms and top business people from all over the area attended in the hope of winning an award.  Cubiqdesign took home the awards for 'Small to Medium Sized Business' sponsored by The Suffolk Chamber of Commerce and presented by Mark Westall, Sales Manager with Archant Anglia, and 'Effective Use of Marketing' sponsored and presented by The Jockey Club Estates MD William Gittus.

For Small to Medium Sized Business the judges noted that since 2003 Cubiqdesign had grown both in staff numbers and the number of services they offer.  Clients include local and nationwide businesses. Judges were impressed by their enthusiasm and vibrancy that came over throughout their very professional entry and the fact it was clear in describing their achievements, goals and their innovative business methods.

In all categories the winning spot was a closely fought battle, but for two of them Cubiqdesign came out on top.  John Treby, Creative Director of Cubiqdesign, said on the double win: “This is a great win for the team, we are delighted to be recognised by such high profile businesses.”

In the Effective Use of Marketing category, Cubiqdesign were applauded for an excellent entry all round, but for this award judges felt that although marketing is obviously one of their key skills, their use of inventive ways to push the company’s boundaries showed foresight and courage.  Additionally, the way in which they presented their marketing overview in the awards presentation was professional and met every need of the judging panel.

Submissions for the awards were taken many months in advance so it has been a nervous wait to see if Cubiqdesign would triumph. Judges received entries from a wide range of businesses and were impressed with the commitment and enthusiasm from all who entered, but on the night there could only be one winner.

Graham Abbey from Factotum and Chairman of The Newmarket and District Chamber of Commerce said: “It was really encouraging to see so many business people turn up for the awards, and it was such a great evening. All the entries were all so well thought out and competition was fierce, but Cubiqdesign were deserved winners in their categories.”

So far this year Cubiqdesign have gone from strength to strength. With their client base continually increasing, becoming one of the top 100 agencies in the county - and one of the top 4 in the East of England - and now their continuing hard work has been recognised with two business awards. The future is looking extremely positive for this local multi-awarding company.
