Digital transformation for East Anglia - Launch of InDigital Connect
Celebrating home-grown talent and championing the digital sector in East Anglia, a conference designed for local businesses and digital professionals is being held on 1 May at The Apex in Bury St Edmunds.
The conference promises to champion the digital industry in East Anglia, encouraging community engagement and growth, support the region’s wealth of creative professionals and to facilitate collaboration. Local businesses will be able to attend for free and meet regional specialists, agencies and developers. The event will provide a unique opportunity for local businesses to find out how digital can help revolutionise their business, and for professionals to share best practise.
Supported by West Suffolk College and Forest Heath District Council and St Edmundsbury Borough Council, InDigital Connect is Co-Founded by digital entrepreneur, investor and advisor Simon Grice who has recently invested into and Co-Founded a number of digital businesses including rentify.com, lingos.co, pareapp.com and iNeed.co, Emma Jell, Co-Founder of Digital Suffolk and social media advisor to a number of digital businesses and Matt Anderson from Bury St Edmunds-based social media agency Montage Communications, specialists in consumer social media and PR.

The InDigital Connect Conference will run from 1pm until 6.30pm covering four themes: Local, Social, Mobile and Cloud, across two streams, Innovate and Learn.
Interactive workshops and keynote presentations from digital innovators will give delegates the opportunity to find out: How they can leverage digital to gain more customers; Maximise the potential of social media; Benefit from the smartphone revolution and Gain efficiencies using cloud-based services.

The official launch event will take place on Thursday 1 May 2014 at The Apex in Bury St Edmunds, from 1pm until 6.30pm.
