Creative Director of Cubiqdesign, John Treby, joins Creativepool’s annual judging panel

John Treby, Creative Director of the multi-award winning graphic design agency, Cubiqdesign, has been invited to join Creativepool’s prestigious judging panel. Joining a line-up that includes some of the creative industry’s most influential people, Treby joins fellow Creative Directors Robbie Dale, Glenn Taylor and Chris Tymon, to judge submissions for the best graphics of 2014.

“To be judging alongside some of the highest profile names in the design world is a real honour,” said Treby as he discussed his new appointment. “It's also a great experience to be able to see the array of talent out there and to judge some of the best work across the UK from the last 12 months.”

The Annual Submission is a unique opportunity for designers and creatives to get their work seen by the CEO’s, Founders and Directors of leading brands and agencies. By submitting work into one of the following categories; 3D design, advertising, branding, digital, graphic, illustration, interior, packaging, photography, product, publishing, typography, video and web, entrants are then whittled down by the judging panel to what they deem to be the best work of 2014.

When asked what he will be looking for in submissions for best graphics Treby said; “Personally I will be looking for some depth to the entry and the thought process behind the creativity and how this sits within the brand it's been created for.”

Last year, 15,000 A4 copies of “The Annual” were printed and distributed in Cannes Goody Bags and sent to the world’s top agencies and brands, with many more placed in the the hands of industry leaders, on agency coffee tables, and exhibited at creative events.
