Businesses urged to become Santa for a day - for just £5

Staff across the county are urged to dress up as Santa for one day and collect donations in a bucket at their workplace for St Elizabeth Hospice.

Suffolk Santas day is being held on Friday November 26 and it is a really easy way to make a difference.

The Hospice provides the collecting bucket and Santas suit and you can spare as little or as much time as you wish on that day.

Carl Brooks, of St Elizabeth Hospice, said: "This is a simple way of giving a Christmas gift of care to a local charity. For just £5 you can register to become Santa and you could just wear the hat at your desk if you can't spare much time to collect out and about.  By just collecting £65 you could help us  provide five minutes of Hospice care."

St Elizabeth Hospice improves lives for people throughout East Suffolk diagnosed with a progressive illness.

St Elizabeth Hospice is here for people living with progressive and terminal illnesses - we focus on the individual’s needs including specialist support if required. We offer expert care and support to help patients, and their families, whether this is in their homes, the community or at the hospice.

St Elizabeth Hospice is an independent charity providing free services. Every year, our services cost £9.1 million to run, three quarters coming from the local community. We rely on fundraising, donations and volunteers to keep going. Your support helps us grow local hospice care in the neighbourhood.

Together we will not let death kill life for those living in Suffolk.
