Work to repair the A12 Bascule Bridge in Lowestoft
Work to repair the A12 Bascule Bridge in Lowestoft

Contractors Amey are working on behalf of Highways England to complete essential repair and maintenance work on the Bascule Bridge on the A12 in Lowestoft. Subject to weather conditions, Amey plan to start work on Monday 23 January, finishing by Monday 20 February, working between 8pm and 6am.

You will also wish to note that the road number changing of the A12 between Lowestoft and Yarmouth to the A47 begins today and is expected to take about a month to complete.
