Highways England will be hosting a series of roadshows to engage with road users and local communities about upcoming road maintenance and minor improvement works beginning in autumn 2017.
The roadshows will take place during the week commencing 14th August 2017.
Waveney District Council are proposing to implement a local business rates relief scheme for those businesses affected by the recent rates revaluation. They are looking for input and views to help shape the eligibility criteria being proposed and the process for assessing any applications for those businesses looking for relief.

A pair of classic tall ships sailed into the Port of Lowestoft this week, stopping off on their voyages around the world.

Contractors Amey are working on behalf of Highways England to complete essential repair and maintenance work on the Bascule Bridge on the A12 in Lowestoft. Subject to weather conditions, Amey plan to start work on Monday 23 January, finishing by Monday 20 February, working between 8pm and 6am.
