The Employer Training Incentive Pilot (ETIP) is an innovative scheme that has already paid out over 2,000 grants worth over £300,000 to local businesses and attracted £1.2 million worth of additional investment by employers. ETIP has announced that it has increased the value of its grant offer – especially for Level 3 and 4 qualifications - to businesses to make it even more attractive.

Over 150 businesses on the Hollands Road Industrial Estate in Haverhill are celebrating this week with the news that they all now should have access to superfast broadband. This means these companies will no longer be held back by substandard phone and web infrastructure and puts in place another piece in the jigsaw aimed at encouraging further inward investment into the town.
