Following a successful bid to the Government’s £3.6 billion Towns Fund, it has today been confirmed that Lowestoft will be offered £24.9 million to invest in the regeneration of the town, driving economic growth and acting as a catalyst for future investment.










“In response to multiple attacks and subsequent public enquiries, the UK has launched an 18 week consultation period on the “Protect Duty”. It is proposed that this duty will provide legislation to promote Counter Terrorist (CT) protective measures in publicly assessible locations (PALs) and will place an emphasis on site operators and Local Authorities to ensure that suitable, proportionate CT measures are in place to protect the public.
