A Night of Inspiration at Suffolk Chamber's 140th Annual Prestige Dinner with Sara Davies

The Suffolk Chamber of Commerce’s 140th annual black-tie member-only event,  'Prestige Dinner', recently took place at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall, marking another memorable evening in the Suffolk business calendar. The event featured an engaging keynote address by Sara Davies, MBE, renowned entrepreneur and star of Dragons’ Den, who shared her powerful journey of business growth and the vital role chambers of commerce played in her success.

Sara’s speech resonated deeply with the 230 Suffolk Chamber members and guests in attendance, offering valuable insights into the benefits of chamber membership. She credited her early involvement with her local Chamber as a pivotal decision in both her personal and professional development, emphasising the importance of networking and business support services during her formative years in business.

The evening kicked off with networking and arrival drinks, followed by a delicious three-course meal and a charity auction. Businesses across Suffolk generously donated prizes for the auction, raising an impressive £8,000 for four local charities: Access Community Trust, Suffolk Family Carers, Headway Suffolk, and St Nicholas Hospice Care. The charitable contributions underscored the spirit of community at the heart of the Suffolk Chamber.

Nick Evans, President of the Suffolk Chamber, expressed his gratitude: "Sara’s words truly encapsulated the essence of what the Chamber stands for – support, community, and growth. Her journey serves as a reminder of the critical role chambers play in shaping entrepreneurial success, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have had her share her story with us."
