Suffolk Libraries Menopause & Me pledge

Suffolk Libraries is appealing to any Suffolk businesses interested in becoming early adopters of the new Menopause & Me pledge.

The Menopause & Me programme is being run by Suffolk Libraries thanks to funding from the Department of Health and Social Care.  It aims to help people who are experiencing the menopause and perimenopause, with a focus on empowering local employers to provide as much support as possible for their staff.

The programme will officially launch in late March and will involve encouraging as many employers as possible to sign up to the Menopause & Me pledge. The pledge is intended to not only serve as an act of commitment to supporting colleagues experiencing the menopause, but also provides an opportunity for companies to access the support and resources to help. Suffolk Libraries is specifically looking to engage with SME employers.

When organisations sign the pledge, they commit to:

  • Sending a senior leader on FREE (peri)menopause online training with Suffolk Mind
  • Implementing a workplace (peri)menopause policy
  • Creating a (peri)menopause-friendly workplace and facilitating open and honest conversations on the subject.

Please get in touch with Bethany Fisher if you’re interested in becoming an early adopter Bethany.fisher@suffolklibraries.co.uk
