Suffolk Chamber Patron, Suffolk New College Hosts Progression Fair: Connecting Businesses with Future Talent

Suffolk Chamber Patron, Suffolk New College is excited to announce its upcoming Progression Fair, scheduled for 15 May 2024, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Suffolk New College. This event presents a unique opportunity for businesses to connect with their future workforce.

Would be interested in hosting a free information stand in order to:

• Meet full-time students to promote both your current and future progression opportunities and/or activities to help them secure their Next Steps.
• Access the future local talent pipeline (as many of our students will be completing their current studies in June 2024)
• Provide insight to the attendees about the skills, knowledge and behaviours you are looking for in successful applicants and offer advice and guide about the industry that you work in.
• Build new connections with both staff and students at Suffolk New College and find out how you can additionally work with the College.

The Progression Fair aims to facilitate meaningful interactions between local businesses and full-time learners at Suffolk New College. Businesses are invited to host information stands, providing them with a platform to showcase current and future progression opportunities, as well as activities aimed at helping students secure their next steps in their career journey.

This event is especially timely as many students will be completing their studies in June 2024, presenting a prime opportunity for businesses to access the future local talent pipeline. Employers attending the fair will have the chance to engage with students and offer insights into the skills, knowledge, and behaviors they seek in successful applicants. Additionally, businesses can provide valuable guidance about their respective industries, helping students make informed decisions about their career paths.
