This is what students, staff, parents and visitors say about our school. It is an oversubscribed, mixed comprehensive school with about 1750 students of which around 300 study in the Sixth Form. Sir John Leman High School has a reputation for achieving high standards by working closely
with parents, partner primary schools and the community. Partnership is the key to your child's success.
Regular meetings with parents to discuss progress as well as numerous school events help to create a
deeper understanding between home and school. Regular Parents' Evenings twice a year give the opportunity
for pupils, parents and staff to review progress and to set targets for improvement.
The school places a great emphasis on the celebration of achievement and has a rewards system developed through the school council. Pupils, parents and staff enjoy the opportunity to recognise achievement at our annual awards evenings and celebration evenings for all year groups.

David Henley - who became the college's Principal a year ago - developed his love of land-based careers from a young age on the family farm in Yorkshire. He has gone on to run three land-based colleges.
At Easton & Otley College, our subsidised coach network brings people in from all over Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex to study for great careers. As David explains, the future in land based industries is high-tech, high-skilled and highly rewarding.
