Why does wellbeing at work matter?

Join us this December for an insightful networking lunch with guest speakers Emma Ratzer and Tod Sullivan from Access Community Trust on wellbeing in the workplace.

Good health and wellbeing is a core enabler of employee engagement and organisational performance, whether you have one member of staff or 500. Staff that are resilient, connected and happy can become your competitive edge. Yet very often the initiatives needed to develop these staff are difficult for managers to buy into and for staff to uptake - I mean, just how beneficial can it be to have a 'walking meeting' when you need to get the next order completed now!

Emma Ratzer, CEO of Access Community Trust

About our speaker: Emma is listed as one of Suffolk’s Top 100 influencers and has just also been recognised as one of Suffolk’s Most Inspirational Business Women. She is currently working on a dissertation for an MA in HR that is researching the impact of Social Connections at Work, particularly important with today's national loneliness and isolation agenda which has consequences for our work environments.

Tod Sullivan, Mental Health Ambassador for Lowestoft

About our speaker: Tod is just back from a research trip in America looking at mental health approaches in the community having successfully secured a prestigious Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Churchill Fellowship from over 1000 applicants.
