Suffolk Chamber in Greater Ipswich September Networking Brunch

Wed 06 Sep, 2017
09:30 - 11:00
Novotel Ipswich Centre, Greyfriars Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 1UP

Join us at our September Greater Ipswich brunch to hear the latest on Suffolk’s new Police and Crime Plan from our very own local Police & Crime Commissioner, Tim Passmore and Chief Constable, Gareth Wilson.

Having an efficient and effective police service is crucial for helping the economy to grow and generate wealth in Suffolk. As Suffolk’s PCC, Tim and Gareth are both committed to do all they can to support local businesses. Tim welcomes this opportunity to speak at our event to update delegates on Suffolk’s new Police and Crime Plan, as well as discussing the changing pattern of crime and how it affects the economy.

Gareth Wilson was appointed to his position in January 2016 and in his role as Chief Constable, has to deal with new and emerging threats, specifically the digitisation and globalisation of crime. Gareth joins us to give an update and how local communities and business can be more aware of any emerging threats and how to deal with them if they occur.
