Join us this June for one of our popular networking brunches. We are excited to be hearing from Robert Pacitti with the latest updates on his plans for the 2020 SPILL festival. Our brunches are a fantastic relaxed and informal format where you can network and build you business contacts over a coffee and a croissant!
About our speaker:
Ipswich boy Robert Pacitti left Copleston at 16 with no qualifications, before spending 25 years creating an award-winning body of experimental artworks worldwide. He is also creator, curator and director of the SPILL Festival of Performance, which relocated from London to Ipswich in 2012.
In 2018, SPILL commissioned Clarion Call to mark the centenary of the end of WW1. For 11 days the singing voices of women and girls rang out from 500 speakers placed around Ipswich waterfront, including Elizabeth Fraser from the Cocteau Twins and Beth Gibbons from Portishead. Clarion Call reached 50,000 people a day.
In this presentation Robert will talk a little about his journey, place-making, and how you can get involved in creating the Ipswich Biscuit.
