We are delighted to be joined by Phil Eckersley, Agent for the South East and East Anglia at the Bank of England. Phil will present an “off the record” look at the UK economy, drawing on the most recent Bank of England Monetary Policy and Interim Financial Stability Reviews. We will also facilitate a live Q&A session.

The Monetary Policy Report provides an in-depth analysis of the UK and major international economies focusing on the medium outlook for growth and inflation. In these uncertain times the Bank of England will assess the impact of COVID-19 on the economy and the potential recovery paths.

The Financial Stability Report considers the financial vulnerabilities of the UK economy in light of the coronavirus pandemic, seen at firm level, household and banking perspective.
