Future EU UK Trade: Financial and Related Professional Services Roundtable

Join our International Trade Manager, Michael Chapman for a valuable roundtable discussion on the impact of the new UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement on trade in services and implications for the Suffolk economy.

The roundtable will outline how trade in financial and related professional services is carried out under the new EU – UK relationship. We will discuss where market access is now permitted, prohibited a or remains unclear for services providers and traders.

As an attendee you will gain a clearer understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing trade in services – data flows, work permits, regulatory coherence, equivalence and clarity on future areas of collaboration.

The roundtable is open to all Suffolk businesses who are seeking access to, or have an interest in, financial and related professional services, trading with the EU and with rest of world markets. Our Expert Speaker & Chair

Michael Chapman has held a number of key advisory roles, including as a senior policy expert at the Paris based Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) where he had responsibility for financial consumer protection issues, and as the owner of a consultancy specialising in local economic development and social inclusion.

Prior to his current Trade business adviser role, Michael worked within the Economic Development Office at the city of London as International Regulation Manager.
