Haverhill to Cambridge Rail Update
Haverhill to Cambridge light railway What do you think?
The Haverhill railway station was closed on 6 March 1967. 50 years later will we see this return?
Suffolk Chamber in Haverhill & District are delighted to be joined by Cambridge Connect and Rail Haverhill to give an update to local businesses on the plans to re-open the railway link between Haverhill and Cambridge, and the potential benefits this could bring to local business.
Local MPs, councillors and rail groups have already discussed the plans in Westminster, and the next stage will be to look at funding projects to investigate whether it is cost effective.
We would like to invite you to attend this event to hear from the partnerships behind the proposal, and to share your views on how this could impact on you, your business and our local economy.
