Patron News: Source One Consulting Supports Initiative to Help Residents at Top Up Shop Community Project

Suffolk Chamber Patron and local businessman, Pat Lewis of Source One Consulting, is providing support for a local initiative aimed at helping the town’s cash-strapped residents.

Ipswich Top Up Shop is a community project that runs on Saturday mornings at various locations and offers a recyclable bag of goods for £2, without any qualifying conditions or referral. Pat, Chairman of Source One Consulting, is proud to be supporting it with donations in 2023.

The shop has been successful for seven years, accommodating up to 70 shoppers per week. Local supermarkets, grants and donations provide the project’s funding. The Ipswich Top Up Shops and The Peace Café are two “brilliant” initiatives that benefit local residents struggling with food prices and fuel poverty. Source One carries out fit out and refurbishment projects across the UK, comprising of a team of designers, builders, plumbers, electricians, and fitters.
