Young Chamber
Suffolk Young Chamber Growing Fast
Young Chamber is a national initiative with the stated aim of providing opportunities for student led engagement with business and the world of work.
The first Young Chamber Council was elected at Castle Manor Business and Enterprise College, Haverhill in November 2008. We are now well on the way to achieving our initial target of 15 Young Chamber Councils in schools across the county.
Suffolk Chamber of Commerce is in a unique position to help schools engage effectively with local businesses. Young Chamber Councils are the conduit through which schools can engage with the world of work. Activities such as Targeted Visitor Programmes, skills and careers days and business start-up opportunities are just a few of the options available to the Councils.
