Quarterly Economic Survey
The British Chambers of Commerce Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) has been running for many years and is a valued and high profile survey.
In the current economic climate, the QES is more important now than it ever has been and is growing in its influence.
The information is used at the quarterly Suffolk Chamber Bank of England Panel meetings. Together with other Chambers in the UK, it is submitted to the Monetary Policy Committee who decide on Interest Rates each month.
It was referenced in the Budget report and is being heavily used by the Bank of England as they gather data on the current economic crisis, for example in their recent inflation report:
Each quarter, Suffolk Chamber emails all members inviting them to complete the survey online. It is also open to all businesses in Suffolk.
To complete the survey online log onto www.britishchambers.org.uk/qes You will need to enter the password 'economy' and the Chamber ID Number 77.
This will enable us to have a full set of results for the County of Suffolk and we look forward to receiving your contribution.
