Suffolk Business Women

Suffolk Business Women (SBW) became a part of the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce family on 1st September 2010, following 3 year funding support from Suffolk County Council.

SBW offers business women in Suffolk the opportunity to meet, network, support, inspire and share good practice with other women in similar roles through speaker led lunches and interactive workshops.

Events have included inspirational talks from Nikki King, Managing Director of Izuzu Trucks (UK) Ltd, Sally Hammond, the first female firefighter in Suffolk, Deborah Cadman, Chief Executive of Suffolk County Council and TV personality and business entrepreneur Ruth Badger. SBW also holds regular practical workshops on areas such as marketing your business, improving your networking skills and getting the best from social media.

SBW had been in existence for over 20 years.  Our aim is to provide a supportive and inspirational meeting place for women from all types of  business background, so that our members can network and share information and good practice.

Membership is open to all business women based in Suffolk, whether you have your own business, are an employee, or are currently on a career break. There is no fee to join SBW and Suffolk Chamber members will enjoy the benefit of reduced rates for events and workshops.
