Export Documentation Service - 50% Discount for Chamber Members on European documents!
Suffolk Chamber is a major issuer of export documentation in the United Kingdom. We issue European Community Certificates of Origin, Arab British Certificates of origin, Invoices, and international trade related documents such as EUR 1 and ATR Movement Certificates or embassy legalisation.
Opening hours:
Monday to Friday – 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
Counter service (while you wait) 9.30 am - 1.00 pm then 2.00 pm - 4.30 pm.
Why do you need export documentation?
Documentation is required in some countries to clear customs or it can be required as proof of origin in order to claim preferential duty rates or for banking purposes when payment is by Letter of Credit. Letters confirming UK registration and/or Chamber membership may also be required to accompany tenders or contacts.

Certificates of Origin on-line:
On-line application for EC and Arab-British Certificates of Origin is now available through our e-Cert/a-Cert website www.cofo.org.uk/suffolk. Upon receipt the documents are stamped and returned to you by first class post on the same day or alternatively you may collect them from the Suffolk Chamber. Electronic EUR1's & ATR's from 1st May 08
Electronic versions of applications for EUR1’s and ATR’s are now available. The system is now available for you to submit your EUR1/ATR applications online in a very similar way to the e-Cert service. This service is a quick and easy way to complete and submit your applications. If you would like more information or training on this service please email rosemary@suffolkchamber.co.uk

Personal callers do not need to make appointments, but in order to offer a speedy service, a telephone call beforehand ensures a shorter waiting time.

Legalisation Service:
The Export Documentation team maintains a regular contact with the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce and the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce. We are able to approach many embassies on your behalf and obtain legalisation of your export documentation.
