CENTRAL LONDON

Now that the situation on the ground in Libya is beginning to improve, the major task of rebuilding the country can start. For British companies, this represents a real opportunity.
Rebuilding Libya: Opportunities for British Business
The scale of the task in Libya is covered in a recent article in the Financial Times. To read this article please click on this link Reconstructing Libya: In a ruinous state. Companies first need to have a good understanding of what the opportunities are and how they should position themselves in order to have the best chance of winning contracts. To meet this need, City & Financial, supported by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), is organising a one day conference in Central London on 14th December 2011. It is important to note that this conference will be held after the new Libyan interim Government is due to be formed.
The objectives of this event are: to provide details about the opportunities that are available to UK companies in the reconstruction of Libya; to provide a networking forum in which you can form business relationships with the other UK companies that are likely to be at the forefront in tendering for major contracts; to assist you in linking up with some leading foreign companies that are also likely to be bidding for major projects in Libya; and to ensure that you receive an overview of the potential challenges you face in doing business in Libya.
As a Chamber of Commerce member, we have arranged for you to have a 10% discount off the standard delegate prices below. Please note that all email communications about this conference should be sent to nnoakes@cityandfinancial.com. If you have any queries, please telephone City & Financial on 01483 720707.
