Willowbridge Labels wins Business Vitamins marketing competition

Willowbridge Labels wins Business Vitamins marketing competition
Karl Seeley, Managing Director of Willowbridge Labels with Selina Noton, Director of Business Vitamins

10 Mar 2010

The competition was launched in the Suffolk Business Magazine by Business Vitamins during November of last year.  The objective was to encourage local small and medium enterprises (SME’s) to plan their marketing activity, to help generate increased revenue and stimulate new client acquisition.

Willowbridge Labels were picked as the winner after answering the question ‘Why do you need a marketing strategy?’ Managing Director Karl Seeley explained; ’We have little in-house expertise in this field, but realise the importance of marketing to help meet our business objectives.  By having a professional strategy, we now have the foundation we need to take our company to the next level.  We met with the Directors of Business Vitamins on more than one occasion and they spent time getting to know and understand our business.  As a result, we now have a comprehensive strategy document including specific recommendations.’

Selina Noton, Director at Business Vitamins commented; ‘Many smaller businesses take an ad hoc approach to marketing which typically generates less than satisfactory results.  By encouraging business owners to invest time in creating a marketing strategy, they will be able to focus on where their strengths and weaknesses lie and tailor their marketing accordingly.  This in turn will yield better campaign results and a much greater return on their marketing investment’.

Business Vitamins plans to run the competition again during November 2010.  Any local business wishing to enter should contact Selina Noton on 0845 310 2457 or email enery@businessvitamins.co.uk .
