Virya Technologies is awarded the Suffolk Carbon Charter

07 Dec 2011

Virya Technologies are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Suffolk Carbon Charter at Bronze level - demonstrating the commitment to reducing our impact on the environment, and introduce different ways of working which will reduce our carbon footprint.

Virya Technologies have adopted working practices such as moving our systems to eco-friendly cloud-based systems and encouraging the use of cycling and public transport amongst our staff, in an effort to minimise our impact on the environment and offset any necessary carbon cost. We have also engrained this commitment in our staff training, ensuring that all electrical equipment is turned off when not in use and reporting back each month on our energy useage.
