MindCraft returns to its roots with video

Local media and communications specialists MindCraft have added a new digital video production arm to their output - returning to the roots from which the company was born.

MindCraft, founded by former television news presenter Sarah Walker, is producing videos for websites and corporate DVDs using only specialist broadcasting technologists.

"As the importance of video on websites grows there are still many poorly produced videos online with badly shot pictures and low quality images. That can reflect so badly on a company's brand image," said Mrs Walker, from Bury St Edmunds, who spent 20 years working in television in the eastern region.

"These days people want to learn about your business and products quickly and easily. Videos can say so much more than words alone. We want to make sure the films are well shot, well edited and tell short and engaging stories about our clients.

“Just because so many people own digital video cameras doesn’t make them all able to shoot smart, succinct videos which portray exactly what people want to say.”

MindCraft has already produced videos for a number of private and public sector organisations including a video for the University of Nottingham's pioneering research project into healthcare associated infections, featuring TV actress Leslie Ash.

Other clients include manufacturers, local authorities, and retailers.

Videos can be used for event coverage, news, product demonstrations and corporate messages on websites, internet sites and offline.

Sarah Walker added: "There is no substitute for professionally produced videos which can really bring alive your corporate message.

"We are really excited about this new direction which sits beautifully alongside our training workshops in which we continue to work with businesses who want to improve their media and communications skills."
